The Padres cruised to an easy 10-1 victory over the Giants on Sunday en route to a road sweep of their division rivals. The Friars ended their road trip with a record of 7-2. The Padres got contributions from just about everyone on Sunday. MacKenzie Gore completed 6 innings for the first time in his career, allowing just one run. Manny Machado continued his MVP campaign, collecting four hits including three doubles and a triple. Every member of the Padres starting lineup had at least one hit. The Padres improved to 27-14 on the season, and will return home on Monday to begin a 3-game series with the Brewers.
