
The Padres defeated the White Sox 6-1 on Saturday night, pushing them above .500 for the first time since May. Michael Wacha was brilliant in perhaps his final start in brown and gold, striking out 7 over 7 scoreless innings. The Padres did all of their damage early, scoring all 6 runs in the first two innings, and Ji Man Choi picked up his first two hits as a Padre.
