For the 20th consecutive month, casinos won more the $1 billion from gamblers, according to new numbers released Tuesday by the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

The $1.2 billion take came despite the fact that Strip revenue was mostly flat, with just a .5% increase over October of 2021.

The biggest winners in October included casinos downtown (up 19% year to year) and on the Boulder Strip (up 18%). Overall, Clark County casinos saw an increased win of close to 9%.

From year to year, Nevada’s overall take is up roughly 6.5% from the first ten months of 2021.
