      Rachel Pierson

      Rachel Pierson makes her radio debut as a reporter for WBBM Newsradio 780.

      Born and raised in Naperville, she graduated from Neuqua Valley High School and earned her Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Communication in June of 2016 from North Central College. She is a member of Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communications honor society.

      Rachel started her television broadcast career in 2015 as a news reporter for Naperville Community Television. In 2016 she moved to Quincy, IL to be a weekend anchor and reporter at KHQA, the ABC affiliate, where she was later promoted to morning news anchor. Most recently, she was a morning news anchor at WICS, the CBS affiliate in Springfield.

      In addition to her radio work, Rachel is also the Programming Director at Naperville Community Televison.
