PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened Monday night across from City Hall.
Police are searching for a gunman who opened fire at 15th and Market streets across from City Hall, killing a man who had been sitting on a dirt bike on a sidewalk.
This happened around 6:30 p.m. near the Clothespin sculpture.
Investigators say the armed suspect jumped out of a car and chased the victim, firing nearly a dozen shots from close range, hitting the man in the face, neck and chest.

The 20-year-old man was taken to Jefferson Hospital, where he died shortly after.
Officials say the shooting was caught on surveillance cameras. The investigation is underway.
