The Padres made a flurry of roster moves leading up to Friday's non-tender deadline. They began by trading reliever Scott Barlow, who was a non-tender candidate, to the Guardians for reliever Enyel De Los Santos. Barlow was acquired from Kansas City via trade at last year's deadline. The Padres also announced that they had non-tendered catcher Austin Nola, pitchers Tim Hill and Jose Espada, and outfielder Taylor Kohlwey.
