Taylor Swift has the Internet’s full, undivided attention as she’s started providing “Easter eggs” for fans to figure out the "from the vault" songs that will be included on her 1989 (Taylor’s Version) album, dropping October 27.

“You can tell me when the *search* is over,” she posted on Instagram Tuesday afternoon. “If the high was worth the pain,” she added, which are lyrics from “Blank Space” a track the original 1989 album. In true Taylor fashion, there’s a lot more to her caption than meets the eye.
Earlier today, it was discovered when some Internet users searched Taylor’s name in Google, an interactive puzzle appeared — hence the word “search” in her caption being emphasized. According to Pop Base, Taylor “will unveil the ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ vault once 33 million puzzles are completed through Google.”
While the puzzle has not been appearing consistently for all users, it’s hard to tell if it’s due to a technical issue, or a calculated Taylor Swift move.
Aside from the “read between the lines” caption provided by Swift, her post shows an animated vault that releases letters several fans are decoding and investigating along with other context clues from the post.
Taylor announced 1989 would be her next re-record in early August to a stadium full of Swifties in Los Angeles as she closed out the final night of her Los Angeles shows for The Eras Tour at SoFi Stadium.
“Surprise!! 1989 (Taylor’s Version) is on its way to you [soon],” she wrote on social media with a photo of the album’s updated cover. “The 1989 album changed my life in countless ways, and it fills me with such excitement to announce that my version of it will be out October 27th.”
Included in the re-release will be the five never-before-heard songs from the vault that didn’t make the original album, and according to Swift, they are “so insane.”
“To be perfectly honest, this is my most FAVORITE re-record I’ve ever done because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane,” she wrote. “I can’t believe they were ever left behind. But not for long!”
1989 (Taylor’s Version), arriving October 27, will be the fourth re-release of six that Taylor has planned in an effort to regain artistic control of her music. It follows Fearless (Taylor’s Version), Red (Taylor’s Version), and Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).
