Oasis singer Liam Gallagher has weighed in on Sheffield rockers Bring Me The Horizon’s heavy af cover of his band’s classic “Wonderwall,” but if you’re waiting for a sick Liam zinger about how it’s not as good as the original, you must be new around here.

Released on Wednesday, January 29, via Spotify Singles, along with artwork that recreates the original Oasis music video, Bring Me The Horizon’s new version of the now 30-year Oasis classic is given their signature workup, sped up with massive guitars, pounding drums, and blistering screamo vocals from Oli Sykes and crew, making the fan-fave track uniquely their own. As an added bonus, BMTH will be donating all profits made from the track to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
After hearing the track himself, Oasis’ Liam Gallagher responded directly to a post sharing news of the surprise single, writing on X, “I f***ng LOVE it.” Later, again in response to a user who thought the singer would be “so pissed off” about the track, he weighed in, “I’m not it’s absolutely incredible made my day I’m of out on my skateboard f**k y’all.”
For those unaware, this new, fully-accepting version of Liam Gallagher made his appearance on the cusp of Oasis' 2025 tour announcements, when the famously belligerent frontman chose to finally bury the hatchet with his brother, Noel, after almost two decades. Additionally, neither brother has shown interest in speaking to the media about the reunion for fear of being baited into another almost 20-year estrangement. “We’re too old to give a s*** now, so there won’t be any fallout," Noel said last year regarding the upcoming shows. "There won’t be any fighting. It’s a lap of honour for the band.”
