Aside from the general rule of not waking a sleeping bear, Oasis singer Liam Gallagher has offered up a few other reasons the band has decided to stay away from interviews in the lead-up to their LIVE '25 dates.

According to Liam, neither he nor his older brother Noel are interested in speaking to the media about the reunion and upcoming dates for fear of being baited into another almost 20-year estrangement.
“We don’t want to do interviews coz we’re scared of the media asking us intrusive questions and trying to pick holes in our relationship,” Liam told a fan via his always entertaining X account on Thursday, October 10. Responding to another fan’s prodding about media hits, Liam simply answered with a poetic, “Can’t be arsed." His responses to other versions of the same question were also rebuffed.
Again, responding to a fan who explained to followers that they should acknowledge that the brothers' relationship is more important than Oasis as a band, he shared his utmost "RESPEK." "Their relationship has been marked by estrangement for years," the fan added, "and we must note that the media contributed to their tensions.”
Oasis will be making their return to this side of the pond 16 years after their last performance, while bringing their LIVE '25 celebration to fans all around the world next year, kicking off with sold-out shows in the UK, Ireland, and Scotland.
