The East Wing houses the Gold Star Family Tree, which is adorned with ribbons featuring the names of fallen service members.
The official White House Christmas tree, an 18-foot Fir, stands in the Blue Room and is decorated with ornaments designed by students across the country.
First responders and frontline workers are recognized with a tree and handmade ornaments in the Red Room.
And this gingerbread house beats the heck out of the ones my kids and I put together. This is a gingerbread White House!
