Calliope is a female Australian cattle dog/blue heeler, 50 lbs, born Nov 25, 2016, adopted as a puppy from JPAS. She’s spayed and microchipped. She has lived with her original owner since that time. He has recently passed away and sadly Cali is now homeless and alone. She lived with her 9 yo Airdale brother, but he has gone to another home. She misses him, but we know that with the right loving home she can get over that.
She is a friendly and loving dog; enjoys people and loves attention, although also content when left on her own. She loves to run and play, and plays well with a young child who has lived in the home off and on over the past year. She has a lot of love to give and is a very loyal dog. She has never been crate or leash trained and has the run of the house. She is not destructive and is house trained. Cali knows basic commands and responds well to training.
She is ready for that couch that is calling her name! Meet Calliope via Take Paws Rescue at https://www.takepawsrescue.org.
