Everyone, meet Herbie - a charming, slightly shy, but oh-so-sweet pup who’s been with Northshore Humane (on and off) for nearly four years. Herbie is now just over 4 years old and still holding out hope that the right family is out there for him. He’s been adopted twice before but sadly returned—once for being a typical mischievous puppy (we forgive you, Mr. Herb), and the second time because his family didn’t have enough space for him to thrive.
But don’t let that fool you, Herbie is a GREAT dog. He’s gentle, affectionate, and once he warms up to you, he’ll happily be your shadow. He loves playing with toys, getting all the pets, and just hanging out with his people. He’s not a fan of cats or rabbits, but he’s a huge fan of being loved.
Let’s not let him hit another anniversary at the shelter. Herbie deserves his forever. His own cozy space, his own family, and a chance to finally just be home.
