Reviewing All of Lady Gaga’s Masks from the 2020 MTV VMAs

Mother Monster walked the socially distant VMAs red carpet in a space-aged gown. However, instead of wearing a mask Lady Gaga opted for a personal bubble headdress instead.

As Gaga accepted her first award of the evening, viewers were also delighted with a whimsical outfit change from the queen of the avant-garde. The Bjork-inspired look also featured a pink gas mask that seems to fit perfectly with the world of Chromatica. 

Just when we thought Gaga’s masks couldn’t get any more inventive the fashion legend served us with a kelly green gown and a freakish tentacle mask. If Gaga can make masks fun you can too.

During their epic performance of “Rain On Me,” both Lady Gaga and Ariana were masked. Gaga’s digitized Chromatica mask depicted waveforms as the words from the hit song poured out of her mouth.

As she stepped out on stage to receive the award for 'Best Pop Video' for “Rain On Me”, Lady Gaga dazzled us all in an angelic, feathery, and glittery haze. Of course, her fifth mask of the evening also matched the look.
