As you may know their song, “I’ll Make Love To You” was a hit when it was first released back in the '90s, but now it’s almost 30 years later and some parts don’t quite work like they used to; plus, once you mix kids, bills and work into the equation sometimes that love-making romance gets put on the back burner.
So, the trio came together to give their original fans an updated and more realistic version of the song featuring a cameo from Stephen Colbert himself dressed in all white with a dangly earring.
The hilariously revamped “I’ll Make Love To You (But We Don’t Have To)” plays to those middle-aged couples that just don’t get down like that anymore, with lyrics like, “I’ll make love to you if you want me to, unless you’re too tired, because I’m tired too,” Wanyá Morris sang.
