Their group got the best score from the city so it's the leading plan and it includes:
• An urban farming teaching area
• A “discovery lab” that would provide science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics programming for area students
• Natural healing center
• Culinary arts education
• Restaurant
• And a transportation and logistics hub on the property (whatever that is).
The top other plans that don't involve Saints players...
PLAN 2 waterpark, RV park, and big-box retail stores, outdoor ampitheater, hotel and athletic venues, a wave pool, ATV park and BMX bike park... and some houses.
PLAN 3 A “super travel center” (maybe like Bucee's???!!!?!) with entertainment like ropes course, a shooting and archery range, and airboats and canoeing, arcades, bowling and golfing... Plus a hotel, and cabins along Lake Pontchartrain.
The city will invite the selected developers to make presentations within a month.
