In case you happen to be new to Mardi Gras, welcome! I know it feels like we've all been here forever, but occasionally there is a newbie to all our fun and revelry. So we wanted to share some tips. We'd planned to do this on the Audacy app, but maybe we aren't as tech savvy as we think we are. :) Next time, we'll take your calls live during our chat, but in the meantime we shared some tips that a few of you were nice enough to share with us on Facebook.
One note, these tips are almost entirely about parades. If you're interested in the Bourbon Street of Mardi Gras... there are probably some videos of that. That's not the scene that the locals really enjoy during most of the Carnival season. So if you're new to the area, or just thinking about hitting up a new parade this year, we hope some of this helps!
