The property, named L’île d’Anges, was captured by Architectural Digest in 2017 for the cover of the magazine. The famed country duo bought the island in 2003 but didn't reportedly move in until 2012. In the Architectural Digest cover story, McGraw and Hill discuss the massive undertaking turning the island into a private residency required, and how they did not anticipate the intensity. Hill says, “We set out to build a house. We had no idea we had to build everything else. We basically had to build a little town.”

L’île d’Anges is slightly over an hour away from Miami by plane, according to the island's listing. As explained by AD, the home is a grouping of eight “pavilions” that are connected by nearly 5,000 square feet of covered porches and passageways.
During the construction on the island Tim, Faith and their daughters stayed in temporary, luxury, seaside yurts. However, while initially temporary, the yurts still stand and are included on the listing.
The main home on L’île d’Anges sits at the center of the island and boats 6,517 square feet. The house includes private beaches and dock, as well as four bedrooms and five bathrooms. The island itself has more than 1 mile of water frontage.
