Even though the world may be on lockdown you can always count on Twitter to do its job!
Due to COVID-19 people everywhere are taking immediate action by social distancing and self-quarantining to halt the spread of the virus. This is definitely a scary and anxious time, but this story will surely provide a few laughs.
Northern Italy is one of the areas hit hardest by this pandemic. Recently videos circulated showing the quarantined Italians singing on their balconies together and the clips immediately went viral. Everyone loved how these people were handling a very difficult time.

Naturally once this story went viral Twitter jumped in and did its thing. People took these clips and added their favorite songs to them, so the Italians appeared to be singing different songs. The creators even altered the sound of the audio to actually sound like people outside on balconies were singing them -- definitely believable!
Memes that were made were to Britney Spears' "Toxic" and "Sometimes," Rihanna's "B**** Better Have My Money," Katy Perry's "Roar," Cheryl Cole's "Fight For This Love," and Madonna's "I Rise."
Katy, Cheryl, and Madonna were some of celebrities that actually fell for the memes. "You cannot break the human spirit. We are one in this" said Katy. "Let Us All RISE UP. everywhere around the world!! #irise" added Madonna.

Now, "Roar" was an international smash hit song that I'm sure this community may know. Those other songs though...did Madonna really think "I Rise" would be known be everyone? Twitter user Sarah Jackson (@sarahellenjack) said it best.
We should all strive to have this level of over confidence! This will most likely not be the last meme to come out of the Coronavirus....
