It does not appear Jerod Mayo will be the next head coach of the Broncos.
According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, the three finalists for the Denver job are Dan Quinn, Kevin O’Connell, and Nathaniel Hackett. Mayo interviewed for the job last week.
Mayo reportedly will interview with the Raiders for their head-coaching opening on Tuesday. This is currently his only other official request, although he's been rumored to be on Houston's radar.
The Patriots have a few names connected to Las Vegas besides Mayo. Director of player personnel Dave Ziegler has been requested to interview for the GM job, while Josh McDaniels' name has been floated as a possible next head coach by multiple insiders recently.
This is Mayo's second offseason interviewing for head-coaching jobs as he met with the Eagles last year.
