Cindy Crawford is no stranger to being photographed.
The 56-year old supermodel has been in the limelight for decades, but thanks to social media, she’s now both in front of and behind the camera.
In what she dubbed the “first photo dump of 2023,” Crawford gave her fans a glimpse into her latest adventures, from relaxing in front of the water with her husband, Rande Gerber, to happily basking in the sun.
Crawford also posted two mirror selfies – in one of the photos she leans against a door frame while wearing a white robe, rollers in her hair, and in the other she poses seated in front of a mirror with a decal that reads “Hair Goals” with a bottle of Meaningful Beauty hair product in the foreground.
Meaningful Beauty, which was created by Crawford and launched in 2004, started as a skincare regimen and expanded to haircare in 2021. According to the brand’s website, “Meaningful Beauty delivers younger looking skin by combining science, technology and the power of rare melons grown in the South of France.”
Crawford told Women’s Wear Daily that “we expect our skin is going to age…and your hair, you know it’s going to go gray, but no one really talks about your hair aging” and shared that the antioxidants present in her skincare line can be used for similar results on hair. “It’s a healthy scalp that creates a healthy environment for good hair,” she said.
The carousel of photos on her Instagram also revealed what appear to be some other products in Crawford’s routine, including a Meaningful Beauty anti-aging day crème with SPF 30, Tom’s of Maine toothpaste, and Carnal Flower perfume from Frédéric Malle, which the brand says smells like tuberose and white musk. In keeping with Crawford’s beauty line, the other top note of the fragrance is melon.
Last month, Crawford reunited with some of her supermodel pals in New York City and rang in the holiday season with Christy Turlington and Helena Christensen. The trio documented the gathering with photos shared on social media, prompting their contemporaries Linda Evangelista and Carla Bruni to comment, with the former First Lady of France writing “wait for me, girls!!!”
