Greenville County Animal Care has faced many challenges in the past few seasons with a high intake of large breed dogs. They are doing their best to get these dogs into foster homes, rescues, and forever homes.
We are so excited to share some INCREDIBLE news from our friends at Greenville county Animal care!!
As of Monday, the remarkable staff of lifesavers were able to get 47 dogs out of the shelter and into homes with adopters (18), fosters (12), or rescue groups (13), and 4 that were returned to their families! Of course, it takes a compassionate community to make this happen and we thank all of you that continue to adopt, foster, and rescue. They also couldn’t do it without the amazing volunteers that work tirelessly beside us. We need more days like yesterday!!
We are here to help continue their great work by getting the word out about the free adoption event going on Saturday at Petco (Cherrydale) for a fun off-site adoption event!
All adoptions are FREE. Come on by Saturday, February 18th, from 11 AM - 2 PM at the PetCo at Cherrydale! There will be plenty of adorable & adoptable dogs hoping to find their forever homes.
If you cannot make it to the adoption event on Saturday, you kan also stop by the shelter at Furman Hall Road in Greenville for fee-waived adoptions through Saturday, February 18th.
