Starting tomorrow families can receive a FREE, 20 pound box of fresh fruits and vegetables every week at The North YMCA at 1000 W. Rundberg Lane and/or the East Communites YMCA at 5315 Ed Bluestein Blvd. Boxes will be available every Tuesday through the month of August. Families will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis by this touch-free delivery method but you can also walk up in order to be served.
For the NORTH AUSTIN YMCA: It starts at 9am and drivers are asked to enter from Mearns Meadow Drive
For the EAST COMMUNITIES YMCA: It begins at 10am and drivers are sked to enter the parking lot through the northbound lane of Ed Bluestein Blvd.
This is made possible through a partnership between the YMCA of Austin, Brighter Bites and DiMare Fresh. Boxes will be prepared and delivered by DiMare.
Sourcing Manager Jennifer Boone: "The program will allow us to expand our reach in those cities by more than 30%, and we're grateful to DiMare for trusting @BrighterBites to distribute their product with the greatest care and consideration." https://t.co/8UuCqJvPRY
