Earth Day Update! The Earth Day Clean on 4/19 with Rowing Dock for The Trail Conservancy was a BiG SUCCESS! Over 1,900 volunteers removed over 14,300 POUNDS of trash from Lady Bird Lake, the Butler Trail and surrounding green spaces helping The Trail Conservancy with the Rowing Dock! YOU ROCK!
Team Audacy ATX was thrilled to be part of such a labor of love with so many great folks. Our 1Day 1Thing had us with MANY others doing 1Thing together with the common goal of helping to preserve the beauty of a beloved area in downtown ATX!
It included Alex/ Mix Morning Show doing his part to keep the Butler Trail lookin' good while Rockin' the beard!
With Sean Mack / Mix Afternoons having all the 1Thing vibes going ...
It also included lots of fun with items found during the Clean Up! Together we picked up around 150lbs of trash, and everyone had fun doing it! It's a 1Day 1Thing Win! We can all keep the 1Thing Wins going by picking up while we are out and about! Don't Trash It! Toss it! Recycle it! Do 1Thing Together! Every day is Earth Day!

Team Audacy Austin is getting ready for 1Day 1 Thing with the countdown to the Earth Day Clean Up with the Rowing Dock for The Trail Conservancy this Friday 4/19! It kicks off Earth Day weekend with a labor of love of help from the community for the community of Austin.
Hanna Cofer from The Trail Conservancy and Kate Aoueille from the Rowing Dock chatted with Brian Fitzgerald on Inside Austin about the growing love there is for the Clean Up. There is amazing community support from so many local volunteers, businesses and sponsors. Find out how trash becomes a strange win during the weigh in and oddest item found! Keepin' It Fun & Weird is expected to shine during the Earth Day Clean Up! Plus everyone is invlted to the Jubilee with The Trail Conservancy on Saturday 4/20 on International Shores East of 35 off Lakeshore Drive for a family-friendly Earth Day weekend celebration in Austin!

Another way to preserve the beauty of the Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail is through the 'Tempo of the Trail' . Next time you're on the boardwalk look for the second addition by Chrom Collective under the 35 bridge spreading it's wings! The first by Adrian Landon Brooks is under the Drake bridge.

Let's Do 1Thing Together to celebrate Y'all! Kicking off Earth Day weekend on Friday 4/19 with the land and lake clean-up along Lady Bird Lake. There's West end, East end and the Trail at Festival Beach to pick up trash boat or walking. Volunteers get a trash bag, gloves and grabbers. Those who join the Rowing Dock's Kayak Clean Up Crew also get a free boat rental. Clean up times are round 2 hours at 9am and 12pm / lunchtime. Everyone is welcome! Singles! Teams! The Earth Day Weekend celebration continues on Saturday 4/20 with the 2nd Annual Earth day Jubilee on the Butler Hike and Bike Trail at International Shores from 10a-2p!
