
AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Central Texas began to thaw Friday, with temperatures rising well above the freezing mark for the first time in days. Just one more hard freeze awaits the area early Saturday morning, before temperatures gradually increase into the 70s by the middle of next week.

After temperatures rose to near 40 degrees Friday afternoon, we'll have one more cold night with a Hard Freeze Warning in place. Temperatures in Austin are expected to fall into the lower 20s, with a forecast low of 23.
Saturday, temperatures will rise into the lower 50s with partly cloudy skies as a warming trend begins. Saturday night, lows will remain above freezing for the first time in days with a forecast low of 37.
Sunday and Monday will see highs in the lower 60s, Tuesday in the upper 60s, and Wednesday will reach the lower 70s.
