All warnings, watches, and advisories for the Austin area have been allowed to expire.
Several multi-vehicle crashes were reported across the area Thursday afternoon and evening, including a reported 14-vehicle crash along Interstate 35 at U.S. Highway 290 in north Austin. Area H-E-B stores were set to re-open at 8 a.m. Friday morning, after the grocer closed all of its stores across Central Texas early Thursday afternoon due to the winter storm.
