“Now that we’ve returned from our first run of shows, I felt compelled to reach out and thank you all for being there for us,” the musician wrote in a letter shared via Foo Fighters’ Instagram page.

“Every night, when I see you singing, it makes me sing harder. When I see you screaming, it makes me scream louder. When I see your tears, it brings me to tears. And when I see your joy, it brings me joy. But, I see you… and it feels good to see you, churning up these emotions together. Because we’ve always done this together.”

The band kicked off their 2023 live shows on Memorial Day weekend with a show in Gilford, NH and in Boston at the Boston Calling Festival. Their next show is scheduled for June 14 in Rogers, AR followed by another in Pelham, AL. See a full list of their remaining 2023 tour dates below.

In addition to their first run of live shows since the passing of Hawkins, the band has also released their first album since the unexpected tragedy. But Here We Are, the band’s newest project is available now and dedicated to Hawkins. The songs explore the group’s grief and pushing through the unimaginable.
