Andy Grammer joined Karson & Kennedy for the latest edition of Karson & Kennedy Talk With Famous People!
The 'Damn It Feels Good To Be Me' did not hold anything back. He opened up about battling depression, like so many of us, during the pandemic.
Andy shared that he knew he was at his limit when he felt that he couldn't do the thing that he built his identity around. He joked with K&K about how therapy isn't about being "attractive," and how he had to learn to not be a people pleaser with his therapist.
One of the most special moments of the interview was Andy talking about having a relationship with yourself. He said, "Sometimes you catch a breeze of self-love." He caught that breeze and wrote his new song, 'Damn It Feels Good To Be Me!'
The Arbella Fan Question asked Andy if he ever considered collaborating with his wife. If you didn't know, Andy's wife is a talented songwriter - she has written songs for people like Rachel Platten and Christina Perri. He revealed that they have written songs together, but haven't recorded any. Seems like we may be hearing one soon...
Andy Grammer will be back in Boston at the Orpheum Theatre on February 9th!
