Annie had the opportunity to sit down with City of Boston Credit Union and play their new interactive Money Experience game. The game is informative and promotes financial literacy, which is so incredibly important in our current climate.
Money Experience allows users to create "themselves" within the game and make various life choices that apply to different stages of their lives. Each of these choices (do you want to go to college? What kind of job are you looking for? Will you rent or buy a place to live? Etc.) affect the user's finances, budget, and quality of life in real-time and give a more in-depth representation of how the world of personal finance works. This allows for the student to be better mentally prepared to make those decisions when they occur in their own lives!
