This morning we spoke with Olivia Grinstead, Program Director at the Lynn Family Resource Center. The Lynn Community Fridge, owned by Centerboard, a Lynn-based human services nonprofit serving Essex County families, and operated by the Lynn Family Resource Center (LFRC), distributes roughly 60 bags of food a week to families in need, a resource made possible through an LFRC grant. The students showing up to support it are part of the St. Mary's Lynn Food for Thought initiative, a youth-led effort that channels student energy into real community impact.
