We are helping teachers clear their lists this week and we need your help! This morning we spoke to Kathi who is a teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing/ASL. This will is her second year in this position and her 23rd year teaching. Her students are all Deaf or Hard of Hearing and she travels to the different schools in the district to meet with them. To donate to Kathi, please click here. If you'd like to check out some other lists, you will find them below! Thank you all!

Hi! My name is Jenn Langmeyer and I have been a teacher at Potter Road Elementary School in Framingham, MA for 17 years. We are 1 of 9 elementary schools in the city and have quite a diverse population, both culturally and economically. I teach 5th grade (all subjects) and will have 23 students this upcoming year. Although I teach grade 5, there is always quite a difference in learning levels and needs in the classroom. This means the need for supplies or tools varies greatly.

I love giving my students choice in anything I can. This includes books, seats and how to share their thinking. I know that when students feel better. They learn better.  That's how I approach my classroom teaching style.

My name is Michaela, but my favorite people call me Ms. Creeden! I teach 5th grade in Worcester, MA.
This is by far the best career in the world, but also one of the most expensive! I'm working on a Masters right now with UMASS Lowell, and also saving for a home.

My name is Molly Prudden and I am a Kindergarten teacher in Malden, MA. My district has a high ELL population in an urban community. Many of my students come from struggling families. Most of my classroom has been purchased by myself, which is difficult on a teacher salary. If I want my students to have specific materials and access to items to help them learn, it comes from my pocket. Any and all help is always appreciated in education. Thank you for considering me!

My name is Laura and I am a 6th grade ELA teacher in Fitchburg, MA. Our students need help with buying school supplies. We are 100% free lunch for all of our students, they struggle to buy their own school supplies.

I'm moving to a new school in the district and I don't have bookshelves for my classroom. As a 6th ELA teacher (reading/writing) and desperately need book shelves for my classroom book collection.

My name is Lisa Walton, and I teach at New Bedford High School. I teach 9th and 10th grade English classes, and this will be my sixth year. I'm finally getting comfortable in the areas I teach and have started an Amazon Wish List because I have some fun activities planned that would be made so much easier with some of the materials on the list! Aside from that, there are a lot of things on my list to make my classroom more comfortable (a privacy protector for windows that shine light directly on my screen and therefore make it hard to watch Ted Talks, etc, for example). I also included a few books, as I try to add to my classroom library so my kids can check out young adult books if they want to (we've been without an in school library for a few years now).

My name is Maureen Hardiman and I am a teacher in Boston Public Schools. This upcoming school year, I am teaching a new grade (second) and starting from scratch! The students in my classroom have diverse learning needs, some have IEPs and for others, English is their second language. I would love to set my students up for success and my Amazon wish list has items that will do just that! Thank you so much for your consideration!
