Katherine Haley's story is one of the most inspiring ones I have ever heard.

Katherine Haley, a Nashua native, has not had an easy road. She lost both of her parents. She was one of the many people struggling with an opioid addiction. Her living conditions were terrible. Things didn't look great.

Until Katherine took matters into her own hands. She decided to enroll in Bristol Community College.

According to WBZ, Katherine felt enamored as soon as she stepped into the classroom. She knew that it was where she was supposed to be.

Katherine graduated from Bristol in May at the top of her class, and was recently named one of the Community College Women of the Year by Glamour Magazine.

Oh, and no big deal, she was nominated that she received the award by none other than First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden.

Katherine's next stop is an Ivy League - Brown University.

Katherine Haley is an inspiration for the ages.
