Abigail Mack quickly learned the power of the Internet, and how much of an impact she can have on strangers.
Abigail is a senior at Cardinal Spellman High School. She is class valedictorian, and decided to share her college essay that got her into Harvard.
She posted herself reading the beginning of her essay on TikTok. What she didn't see coming was the overwhelming response. 17 million people have now seen this video!
Abigail sadly lost her mother to cancer back in 2014. She was the inspiration behind the essay.
The President of Cardinal Spellman, Daniel Hodes, said "In addition to being extraordinarily bright, extraordinarily well-spoken, she's also fun. She's bubbly, she's funny, she's an amazing artist."
Abigail said she is so happy and excited to be attending Harvard in the fall, and thinks her Mom would share the same feelings seeing her achieve a dream.
I cannot wait to see the amazing things Abigail does in the future, and I hope we get more TikTok videos!
