College graduation day is always full of emotion - the feeling of accomplishing something so amazing, how much someone has grown in those four years, and what the future has in store.
Quincy College graduation was chalked full of that, and more.
230 graduates sat inside Veteran's Memorial Stadium waiting to receive their diplomas and throw their caps in the air, when the Commencement speaker surprised them with something AMAZING.
The commencement speaker was Rob Hale, founder and president of Granite Telecommunications. At the end of his speech, he surprised the graduates by announcing he was giving each of them $1,000.
However, he emphasized the importance of paying it forward, so only $500 was for them. They had to use the other $500 for a charity or give it to someone in need.
What an incredible way to start their future. Congrats to the Class of 2021!
