After 22 years of marriage, Anthony Anderson and his wife Alvina Stewart are parting ways again. The Black-ish star's wife filed for divorce earlier this week, citing "irreconcilable differences."

A rep for Anderson formerly stated: “the divorce papers are public record and they have been separated for some time now.” Stewart noted that their shared assets and property would be divided at a later date. She has also requested spousal support and for attorney fees to be paid by Anderson. According to court documents, the couple’s official date of separation is "TBD” but apparently dates back to 2014, E! News reports.
Anderson and Stewart have been married since September 1999. The high school sweethearts have two children together, Kyra Anderson, 26, and Nathan Anderson, 22. Stewart previously filed for divorce in September 2015 and requested joint custody of Nathan, who was 15 at the time.
In 2017, Stewart asked a Los Angeles judge to dismiss her initial divorce petition after her and Anderson reconciled that year.
