Just over a year since delighting us with “Lovin on Me,” Jack Harlow is back with a brand new single, “Hello Miss Johnson.”

The track finds Harlow addressing his new love interest and her mother over a quick-tempo snappy beat by young Norwegian producer, Aksel Arvid and Harlow’s brother, Clay Harlow.
“Hello, Miss Johnson, you know why I’m callin’/You know I’ve been fallin’, fallin’ for your daughter/I think about her often, correct mе if I’m wrong, but/Was it you that gave the eyеs to her I be lost in? Thought so,” Harlow raps in his smooth cadence on the chorus. “Tell her I said hello if you can, and also/That I can’t wait to see her again, and also/Tell her call me when she get a chance/’Cause I got so much to say, and I appreciate you, ma’am.”
In the lo-fi music video, giving CCTV camera-type vibes, Harlow is seen courting his new lady friend, showing up at her house to serenade her mom through the Ring doorbell camera hoping to impress both women with an overload of gifts, a few handyman fix-ups, and lending a helping hand to surrounding neighbors. And who said chivalry is dead…?
The chaotic visual, directed by Yulya Shadrinsky and Marita Gurcciani, together known as Shadrinsky, also weaves in various scenes of the random goings on around the upscale suburban neighborhood, including a high-pony tailed female jog club, a nude man being chased, a small group practicing Tai Chi on a lawn, and plenty of other questionable behavior.
“Miss Johnson” marks Harlow’s first release since he dipped from the scene shortly after dropping his bop “Lovin on Me.” The record that had TikTok in a chokehold since even before the full track arrived in November 2023, also spent six weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, securing an even longer reign than his first solo chart-topper “First Class.”
Sharing a message with his fans a day ahead of dropping the track, Jack said, “Thank u for allowing me to reset this year I moved back to Kentucky and gave u an album [2023’s Jackman] I could not have made on the road. Surrounded by family & childhood friends this has been one of the happiest years of my life. But now… a new era begins.”
Now, a year later, it seems Harlow is finally ready to include us in this new era of his. Check out his first introduction, and new single “Hello Miss Johnson” above.
