The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are celebrating the 8th birthday of their son, Prince George.
The royal parents celebrated the milestone with an adorable photo of their son — the third in line to the throne — that was shared on the official Kensington Palace social media accounts.
"Turning eight(1) tomorrow," read the caption to the photo of Prince George beaming with an adorable smile.
According to Today, the picture was taken in Norfolk, England, at the beginning of July, and was captured by Middleton. The royal parents have officially made this a tradition for their children over the past several years.
In the birthday photo, the eight-year-old is wearing a polo shirt while looking very happy. Royal experts have reported that it seems that the future king may be sitting on a Land Rover Defender, which honors his late great-grandfather Prince Philip as he was a big fan of classic cars.
Recently, Prince George made a public appearance with his parents as they expressed their support for England when playing for the Euro championship final game. The royals also shared their deep understanding of the historic nature of this event, posting a unique old photo of Queen Elizabeth the last time she attended such a final game — 55 years ago.
