Another key Patriots free agent is staying in New England.
According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, defensive tackle Lawrence Guy and the Patriots are working towards a four-year deal to remain in New England, pending a physical.
[UPDATE]: Multiple reports say this has been agreed to.
Guy reportedly visited Miami as a free agent last week, but did not appear to generate much interest on the open market.
This solidifies the defensive line, as Guy joins Davon Godchaux and Henry Anderson who were added last week.
In 14 games last year, Guy finished with 57 tackles and two sacks. He was also a team captain for the first time last season.
