Cross Ryan Fitzpatrick off the list.

Even with the addition of Cam Newton last week, the Patriots will still be looking to address the quarterback position, but it won't be Ryan Fitzpatrick.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Fitzpatrick has agreed to a one-year deal worth $10 million that could grow to $12 million with incentives with the Washington Football Team.

The report adds he is viewed as the starter with competition from Taylor Heinicke.

Fitzpatrick was viewed as arguably the best free agent available at the position, but now after the addition of Newton and Fitzpatrick being off the board, it seems like if the Patriots do add at the position this offseason it will be via the draft or a lower-level veteran.
