In a game where Justin Tucker is the main attraction when you're talking about kickers, his Patriots counterpart decided to steal the spotlight.
With a second-quarter field goal, Nick Folk set the NFL record with his 57th consecutive kick under 50 yards. The record was previously held by Ryan Succop, who made 56 straight under 50 yards with the Tennessee Titans from 2014-17.
Folk hasn't missed from inside 50 yards since the 2020 season opener against the Miami Dolphins.
Last year, the veteran kicker set a franchise record with 36 straight field goals made at any distance, with that streak being broken against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4.
Tucker might be the best kicker in the NFL, but Folk isn't far behind him.
Now, if only the Patriots could score a touchdown or two so they won't need him as much.
