While Bill Belichick wouldn’t confirm it during his pre-training camp press conference, the Patriots are reportedly working on bringing in help to their running back room.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, New England is in talks with free agent running back Dalvin Cook about setting up a possible visit.

Cook was released by the Vikings earlier this offseason and has taken his time in signing with a new club as training camps begin across the country.
He'll also reportedly visit the Jets this week.

Cook would enter a running back room consisting of Rhamondre Stevenson, Pierre Strong Jr., Kevin Harris, and JJ Taylor.
