Following the Patriots' season coming to an end Saturday night in Buffalo, the team signed six players to future contracts on Monday.

Those six players were: WR Tre Nixon, K Quinn Nordin, WR Malcolm Perry, RB Devine Ozigbo, OL Will Sherman and WR Kristian Wilkerson.

All of those players except Perry finished the season on the New England practice squad, and he's been with the organization before. Practice squad players' contracts run out following the season, so signing them to future deals guarantees their rights and they will likely compete for roster spots next summer.

Nixon and Sherman were late-round picks by the Patriots this season, while Nordin was their only undrafted rookie free agent signing. And then Wilkerson, obviously, had two touchdowns in Week 16 against Jacksonville.
