The New England Patriots will unveil a bronze statue of quarterback Tom Brady at Gillette Stadium ahead of a preseason game in August, the team announced.
The statue will make its public debut before the Patriots host the Washington Commanders on August 8, according to a post on X from the team's account.
Owner Robert Kraft first announced the plans for the statue at Brady's special induction into the Patriots hall of fame last year.
"We commissioned a local sculptor to create a larger than life bronze statue to perpetuate the legendary legacy of the great Tom Brady," he told the audience at the ceremony.
