CJ Checking In: A Quarantine Diary

With everyone being encouraged to be home to combat COVID-19, it causes people like me who thrive in the limelight (or at least think we do) to try being introverted a little more.

It's hard. I'm not going to lie.

Don't get me wrong...I love nothing more than sitting on my couch and watching movies...but i do enjoy socializing.

One thing I noticed during this forced time at home is that having a routine helps.

I don't have to allow 30 minutes to drive to the radio station right now, but waking up on time, getting in a workout, having my breakfast, and beginning my work day really helps to keep structure.

This will come in handy once I have to go back to the office and get back into a routine.

Not to mention, I read that successful people often have a strict routine and that they also wake up early. That allows to get more done throughout the day.

Since my "quarentine" started Thursday evening, I don't have much else to add. I just feel like I'm on vacation minus doing my radio show from my closet.

I can see however that this would become incredibly difficult if we had to stay home for months. However, knowing this is the current best way to defeat the virus, I feel doing my part and staying in is a small price to pay.

If we can flatten the curve and curtail this virus, then hopefully by May we can get back to normal-ish.
