We're in for a beautiful weekend, but unfortunately tonight we have to deal with the actual cold front that is not only bringing cooler weather, but the potential for severe weather.
Meteorologists are ringing the bells saying that we're in for heavy rain, frequent lightning, gusty winds, and even the potential for a tornado or two.
The highest risk if severe weather is around midnight with most of the weather passing by 6am.
A lingering shower or two is possible throughout the morning as cold air is ushered in behind this line of storms.
Check back constantly with News 6 meteorologists as they'll be tracking the storms all night long.
