Gideon's Bakehouse has been a hidden gem in Orlando's East End Market. Founder Steve Lewis started the company slowly, and has received so much recognition for his delectible desserts, that they will soon be making their way to an addition location in Disney Springs. Because of his success, he has decided to help others and team up with Liberation Cat House to host a 'Black Cat Charity' event. Steve's love for cats, is above and beyond, so this definitely hits close to home.

Liberation Cat House is a non-profit organization that exists to save the lives of at-risk cats and kittens in the Central Florida area. This is done through fostering those that are sick and/or medically needy until they are healthy and old enough to be placed in a forever home.

Starting at 10AM on Sunday October 25th 2020, Gideon's Bakehouse will release a limited edition 'Black Cat' cookie, where 100% of the proceeds from the purchase of that cookie, will go straight to Liberation Cat House. Due to Covid safety, precautions and a virtual line will be implemented. And the product will be available until it runs out. Liberation Cat House will also be present in the courtyard, with a number of furry friends that are up for adoption.

Gideon's Bakehouse is located at 3201 Corrine Dr, Orlando, FL 32803.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Steve about his journey and the upcoming event!
