This list made me laugh so hard when I read it, because all five of these have happened to me and yes, they are oddly awkward for some reason! It's funny too, because no one really talks about them either, it's just odd and we move on. Here are a few from Buzzfeed, please a few of my own that I added...
1. Watching everyone sing "Happy Birthday" to you.
2. Walking back to your group after your turn in bowling.
3. When the cashier at the grocery store says, "I can help the next person" but you're still putting your change away or grabbing the stuff you bought.
4. That awkward moment when everyone's said "Bye" on a Zoom call and everyone's still trying to leave the meeting.
5. When the person taking the tickets at a movie theater says, "Enjoy your movie" and you instinctively respond, "You too."
Here are a few of mine:
1. When you step into an elevator and there's already someone in there and they immediately look down or away to avoid having a conversation with you.
2. When you're on a plane and the person next to you is asleep and you need to get up and use the bathroom. You slowly climb over them with your rear in their face, hoping they don't wake up!
