I Went To The Friends/ That 70's Show Pop Up Set!

If you read my last blog from yesterday, you know I've been pretty down in the dumps. Well, we decided to do something about that.

Back in late 2019 I found people in other cities who had gone to a FRIENDS 'Central Perk' pop up set. I Googled where the next one would be. Well turns out, the company called Fourth Wall was bringing it here to Orlando Florida for a small period. Being such an iconic show, I was pretty excited about it and I put myself on their mailing list.

Come April, I got an email..... FRIENDS/THAT 70'S SHOW (Monica's Apartment/Eric's Basement), somehow I missed the June dates, but got into the July dates just fine. I purchased my tickets and said thought 'Cool, pandemic should kinda maybe sorta be over by then....' - well, we know where that went.

We hoped to go with many 'Friends', but being as careful as possible, I just went with my best friend, Jess and husband, Michael.

It was really simple and to the point. We got an email sent aobut making reservations. We were lucky enough to book a late evening (we were the last reservation) at 7:50. This gives you 10 minutes in Monica's apartment, and 10 minutes in Eric's basement. The guy running the whole shabang, Dustin, was so accomodating. We sanatize, we respect the property, and since we were the only ones left and were social distancing enough, we could take our masks off for photos. Infact, in one of my photos you can see Michael is still wearing a mask around the apartment. We could touch and pick things up, and since we had pocket sanitizers we just made sure to be clean after everything. We're pretty meticulous about it.

We played like kids. We acted out some of our favorite scenes. And made some of our own. It was the best indoor escape I needed. You make one reservation per group of people, and Dustin helped us out with the rest.

I can't wait for them to bring Central Perk here!
