Gaylord Palms To Replace ICE! With 'I Love Christmas Movies'

According to Attractions Magazine, Gaylord Palms has been busy planning a new replacement for their famous ICE! event.

Due to Covid restrictions, ICE! has been put on hold this year, and in comes a new Christmas pop up called "I Love Christmas Movies". This new experience will offer a multi-sensory exhibition, that allows guests to experience holiday movies they love in a new way.

Running from Nov. 13, 2020 – Jan. 3, 2021, this experience will feature key moments from Warner Bros. Pictures holiday films.

Movies that will be included, are 13 scenes from :

  • “The Polar Express”
  • “A Christmas Story”
  • “Elf”
  • “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”
  • “The Year Without a Santa Claus”

The scenes will be on display featuring replicas of film props, audio clips, and more.This will definitely be a treat for everyone who's crazy about the movies that definitely help us set the mood. Gaylord Palms suggests that with the magic they plan to bring, guests can still look forward to other activities like ice tubing, scavenger hunts, gingerbread decorating, elf training academy, holiday stage shows and more.
