If you happen to have gotten your hair cut at Blockers Salon in Cambridge, Ohio at any point in the last year, there's a good chance that your hair is part of a record-setting 225 lb ball of hair. The hairball was created by Steve Warden, owner of Blockers Salon, who said his son was the one who inspired him to start collecting other people's hair.
Using clippings from customer's hair, Warden created the massive 225.13 lb ball of hair he referred to as "Hoss." Hoss was officially weighed in December and certified at 225.13 pounds, breaking the record of 167 pounds set by Missouri barber Henry Coffer in 2014.
For Warden, It's much more than just a big, gross ball of hair. "It actually has changed my life," Warden said. "I did it because of the love for my children and my future grandchildren, and just to show that you know, if you have a crazy idea, don't worry about what people are thinking, just do it."
