You're probably tired of me constantly bringing up the fact that I'm in a band, but in case you didn't know, I'm in a band! We go by 'Low Standards' which is really our way of setting the bar low. We'd much rather have you leave saying "Wow, you guys are better than I was expecting!" instead of, "Wow, that was a massive let down."
We played our first show of 2022 this past Saturday. It was at a bar in downtown Fargo, ND (where it all started). While we do write and record our own music, our bar shows consist of mostly cover songs. If you're out on the town having drinks, we understand that you probably want to hear some 90s and 2000s throwbacks from blink-182, Third Eye Blind, Weezer, etc. Songs you grew up with and know every word to, even after a handful of drinks. So that's what we do.

The bar was packed from the first note of the first song we played, which was a rousing rendition of "Tonight, Tonight" by The Smashing Pumpkins. We fed off the crowd's energy all night, jumping around on stage and singing along with everyone. Getting to rock out with a crowd while playing some of my favorite songs of all-time is one of the best feelings in the world.

After about 3 hours of jamming out, we concluded the show with a crowd favorite, Lit's "My Own Worst Enemy". The show was the perfect way to kick off 2022. We have plenty more shows on our calendar, most of which are in the Midwest. We're actively working on getting something booked here in Central Florida, so if you have any tips on venues we could play, let me know! Cheers.
